"We've been exhibiting in the National Woman's for four years now. Initially I looked at the show as an advertising opportunity. The first year, we sold enough at the show to break even even on all our show related costs. This meant that the advertising exposure was free. With the lessons learned that first year we have steadily increased our sales volume and the show is now a major revenue source. Every year we attract new show goers, many of whom go on to become regular clients who are with us for years. The benefits extend far beyond the show. We'll be doing the show for years!"

"As usual, it was a delight to work with you at the Ottawa Women’s Show again this year. We enjoyed great success. I also wanted to take this opportunity to let you know how much we loved the new venue. I was surprised at how many women enjoyed coming to Lansdowne as opposed to the Congress Centre. I firmly believe that the simplicity and ease in which women could park made a huge difference. The bright natural lighting and sound at Lansdowne was wonderful, the parking was a cinch and the feedback was overwhelming. I look forward to working closely with you in the upcoming months to determine how we may benefit from a more active role in the Spring Show. As mentioned numerous times, we love working with you and look forward to many more years of shared success and friendship."

"I was pleasantly surprised by the caliber of the Ottawa National Women's Show held in the lovely heritage building at Landsdowne Park, in Ottawa, at the end of September. Once you cross the canopy threshold and step into the show, you are greeted by friendly hostesses who present each visitor with a recyclable bag filled with interesting facts and information, and a nice array of free treats and gifts, to enjoy both during and after the show (the pedometer was a very practical gift, I have used it to track the number of miles walked and calories burned!). I noticed that there was something of interest for every age group. I especially liked the beautiful silk scarves and pashminas - such versatile accent pieces to add warmth, rich color and texture to our Fall and Winter wardrobe . I could see some of the teenagers looking at designer handbags and jewellery (at very reasonable prices); young mothers seemed attracted to the lovely soft hand made woolen sweaters, scarves and socks. Both the young and young at heart experimented with new make-up products and application techniques, as well as trying the newer treatments in cosmetics."
"The National Women's Show also provided a wonderful opportunity to obtain information on a wide array of topics from natural health medicine, weight loss programs and surgery options, to natural home cleaning products and other useful products not found on store shelves. There were lovely samples of tasty foods like hummus and tabouleh, pastas, and other delectable sweet treats. Beaudry Florists were also one of many businesses providing some beautiful inspiration for home décor, and there was great information on interesting places to travel in Ontario. Yes, there was something for everyone at the show, and it was a nice way to spend a few carefree hours together with friends, enjoying all the displays. The Show was both fun and informative, and a great way to learn about all kinds of business and products, as well as to experience new things in a relaxed and enjoyable way. Of course, seeing a television personality like Brad Carlton from the Young and the Restless, in person, provided a "crowning touch" to the whole womens' experience! I am looking forward to the upcoming show in the Spring, wondering with anticipation what new things are out there to discover."
